What with Nance having moved to the other side of the continent and Simon not living on campus anymore, Tom and I spend increasingly more time together talking about things that we cannot really discuss with our significant others (nerdy geeky mathematical or computer sciencey stuff for him, politics for me). Not a Very Safe Thing indeed, but it helps dealing with the feelings of loneliness.
