Awarded

Believe it or not, but I have been awarded, if I understand well, not one, but two awards at once by Mad Hatter. One of them says "Brillante weblog", and the other one "Artetypico". I am not quite sure what they mean exactly, even though I've seen them all over the place recently, but I am very grateful nonetheless, as they seem quite clearly appreciative and positive. I am supposed to pass them along to a number of people (seven, or seven per award which would make fourteen, which is a lot), so I've decided I would list here seven of my favorite blogs, and to hell if they've already been awarded. Therefore, and by alphabetical order,
Amy is nominated for the well-written, sometimes fascinating and always truth-ringing Jimsy Jampots.
Brennig is nominated for the amazing and somewhat crazy Brennig Jones.
Dr. Isis is nominated for the hilarious and mood-lifting On Being a Domestic and Laboratory Goddess, because it is exactly what I aspire at being (a Goddess, for sure).
Janet / Dr. FreeRide is nominated for the oh-so-instructing Adventures in Ethics and Science, because I love her subject and her kids are a-ma-zing (I want the same ones, I swear).
Katie is nominated for the beautiful (both in terms of writing and photographs) and ever touching Minor Revisions.
New Kid is nominated for the smart and witty New Kid on the Hallway, partly because I am totally hooked up to her new adventures as a back-to-school law student.
StyleyGeek is nominated for the highly enjoyable Fumbling Towards Geekdom.
Also, I think I was supposed to reproduce the images of the awards here but I can't quite fully bring myself to doing it. You can see them over at A Mad Tea-Party, where they come from.

Oooh! Thank you! (I tried to get to this post when you commented the other day, but your blog wasn't working properly or something).
An award! Hooray!
Now that I can comment: thank you! I'm flattered. I'm thinking that the "going back to school at my age" thing must have the same draw as watching crazy people. ;-)
StyleyGeek > Yeah, the blog found it convenient to break apart just when I had posted these awards. Sorry about that!
New Kid > I am baffled at the amount of courage it must take to go back to school, and at the same time, I find it super exciting. I still haven't left school myself (9 years after graduating from high-school, and counting) so I think I understand the attraction! Plus, well, we like craziness around here ;-)
Woooo! Thank you :-D
